She is currently looking for a facebook cover photo, and this is what she asked me to write: For the love of God and country.

I love it. I love the Philippines. I love Manila. Though our current situation is far from ideal, “Pinagpala ang bayan na ang Diyos ay ang Panginoon (Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord).” A verse from Psalm 33:12 on our relatively new Philippine Peso bills. :)

Oz the Great and Powerful is the first movie I watched for 2013. Yea, I have missed quite a number of movies since 2012 and I am looking forward to catching up with an intense movie marathon. Haha!

One of the realizations in the movie was that goodness is better than greatness. That reminded me of this line by Voltaire in his poem, La Beguele.

No, I’m not this kind of nerd. I have never read Voltaire until one of his famous lines was requested by my friend. And while I wrote that, I researched about him and stumbled upon this. Yea, I’m that kind of nerd.

Written with uni pin 0.05 and 0.8 pens on a Niederauer Mühle paper.

Last January, I made some layouts for my new-mommy officemates.

What better way is there to celebrate a birth but with some fun and adorable announcers? Here, I compiled the birth statistics of my friends’ babies and put them together in themed baby posters. :) This way, you can spread the news in a creative way!

You could share these images online — facebook, twitter, pinterest and so on! These would also make a good post-baby shower gift, or a poster print to display in your baby’s room. What do you think? :)

Last Thursday, I started a movie marathon—old movies that I missed. I am planning to watch a movie each night, just until the end of the holidays.

The marathon kicked off with Dead Poets Society. I loved a lot of lines from that movie, this is one of them.
